Job Title: Program Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Program Supervisor of the Healthy Families Program reports directly to the Program Director. This role is responsible for providing direct supervision to Family Support and Family Assessment workers, ensuring the successful implementation of program activities and achieving the goals of the Healthy Families program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees.
  • Contribute to and participate in Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department.
  • Represent the Program Director in project-related meetings and work with the Program Director to develop specific plans for the implementation of program activities.
  • Recruit, hire, and train Family Assessment and Family Support Workers.
  • Track and evaluate the activities of staff, including previewing staff case records and generating written reports.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of staff training with the Program Director.
  • Make home visits to supervise staff and assess families, when necessary.
  • Provide direct individual and group supervision to Family Support and Assessment workers.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's degree with commensurate experience in Healthy Families home visiting services.
  • A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience working with children and families is preferred.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Prior Social work or Public Health experience.
  • Prior experience in supervising staff and conducting home visits.
  • Concentration in Health and/or Administration with three (3) years of experience.
