Electrical Engineer II

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Electrical Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing the electrical power subsystems for our innovative space vehicles.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to the design and development of electrical power subsystem components, including spacecraft batteries, solar arrays, and power distribution systems.
- Develop and maintain electrical power subsystem component requirements and documentation.
- Conduct thorough electrical module analyses, including Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with the vehicle electrical power system components.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure the success of our missions.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least two years specifically in space power systems.
- Proven experience with one or more of the following: batteries, solar arrays, power distribution, power conversion.
- Strong background in electrical analysis techniques.
- Experience working in cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience in system-level and circuit-level modeling and simulation.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills in complex electrical power systems.
- Strong familiarity with system and component grounding architectures and methods.
