About the Role

Canon USA is seeking a skilled Camera Customer Relations Representative I to work out of our Costa Mesa, CA factory service center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create repair estimates and process repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide telephone assistance to internal and external customers regarding repairs, repair status inquiries, equipment operation, and complaints.
  • Process repair data into our database and arrange for shipping of completed repairs via USPS and FedEx.
  • Tend to Canon Professional Service members in the Customer Experience Center at the service counter and CPS Lounge.
  • Deliver completed repairs to customers picking them up from our walk-in service facility.
  • Investigate escalations, inquiries, and complaints, and respond/resolve accordingly.
  • Provide front counter support for the Burbank Professional Technology and Support Center as required.
  • Provide shipping and receiving support in the warehouse.
  • Assist with parts inventory and parts delivery to technicians.
Requirements
  • Typically requires General Education or vocational training plus minimum months of customer service and/or retail experience.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • BASIC to intermediate experience with digital photographic equipment and associated processes desirable.
  • Experience with camera, photography, and/or cinematography is preferable.
  • The applicant must demonstrate the ability to work well with a team and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in software applications associated with photography is a plus.
  • BASIC to intermediate knowledge of the Windows environment, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to lift between 30 to 40 pounds.
