Role Overview

As a CPU top-level design verification engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in the development of high-performance, low-power processor designs. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, which are used by millions of customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with verification engineers and RTL designers to define effective verification methodologies for complex processor designs.
  • Develop test plans, test benches, and test environments to ensure comprehensive coverage of the design.
  • Design and develop tests in assembly and C/C++ to validate the functionality of the processor.
  • Drive the development of advanced verification tools and flows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze coverage data to ensure that all test cases are covered and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of digital logic design and processor architecture.
  • Experience with verification tools and verification development.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

At Apple, we offer a competitive salary range of $175,800 to $312,200, depending on your skills and experience.
