Job Details:

At Intel, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation to create technologies that enrich the lives of every person on Earth. As a Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing breakthrough technologies for future-generation CPU cores.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop microcode C-based testbenches to verify design functionality
  • Collaborate with architecture and microcode designers to ensure functionality correctness
  • Develop and lead test plans and test environments
  • Design complex tests in assembly according to test plans
  • Analyze coverage to ensure all test cases are covered
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of digital logic design, CPU architecture, and microarchitecture
  • Experience with developing test plans/testbenches and writing/debugging assembly-based tests
Requirements:
  • Experience in developing CPU simulators, processor verification, and SOC bring-up
  • Experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal and assertions
