The representative is also responsible for entering patient information into the system, managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and relaying messages for all staff members. Additionally, this role involves monitoring and adjusting physician schedules as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient care activities related to data entry and patient account management.
  • Establish payment plans and manage collections.
  • Address inquiries regarding insurance claims, disability benefits, home health services, medical equipment, surgical procedures, medical records, and patient referrals.
  • Maintain a compassionate, friendly, and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Healthcare Customer Service Representative:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Not required.
  • New hires must complete the Clinic Core Front Desk Training through Clinical Education.

Advanced Healthcare Customer Service Representative:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current representatives advancing to this role must complete both Customer Service Representative and Advanced competencies prior to promotion.
