Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Plumbing Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with plumbing equipment, providing customers with clear explanations and options for repair or replacement.
  • Complete Repairs and Installations: Perform approved repairs, improvements, or installations per our repair pricing guide, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer customers information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other improvements, collecting payment for all work performed.
  • Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Keep clean equipment and work areas, maintain truck inventory, and ensure assigned service vehicles are organized and clean.
  • Work in Various Conditions: Perform duties in all kinds of indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential plumbing installation or service.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Check and DOT physical as needed.
Competencies
  • Technical Knowledge: Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform service on residential plumbing and all codes governing those services.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong conflict management skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills, including knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
Physical Demands

The Residential Service Plumber position requires the ability to:

  • Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Bend or twist the body.
  • Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
  • Routinely lift up to [insert weight limit].
