Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
* Assist surgeons during procedures, providing support and passing instruments and supplies as needed
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices

Requirements:

* Completion of an operating room technician program or equivalent experience
* One year of OR Technician experience preferred
* Ability to rotate shifts and work flexible hours to meet patient care needs
* Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
* Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
