We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist I to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile field, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff with patient care and positioning.
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment used in the operating room.
- Transport patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
