As a key member of our Finance Department, you will play a vital role in performing day-to-day financial functions, supporting business operations, and overseeing business insurance.

Responsibilities

As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing journal entries, reconciling financial statements, and ensuring data accuracy
* Receiving and processing payments, verifying and reconciling invoices, and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance and recording entries
* Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
* Reviewing and managing fund transactions, payments, invoicing, remittance, time and expense, etc.
* Monitoring and supporting business and employee licensing compliance for operating jurisdictions
* Supporting and assisting with initial applications, ongoing maintenance, and termination of proposals, contracts, and licensures as appropriate
* Managing business insurance, implementing new insurances, overseeing renewals, claims, and supplying COI

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A Bachelor's degree with some accounting education
* 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a small to medium-sized company
* Self-starting and assertive, high energy, highly organized, and ownership mentality
* Strong collaboration and presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
* Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
