Think Whole Person Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at our walk-in clinic located near 180th and Pacific. As a Clinical Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical team and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The Clinical Staff position is responsible for coordinating and implementing care plans for patients under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider. This includes preparing patients for examination or treatment, gathering information, performing vital signs, and documenting findings in the electronic health record (EHR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care services.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is maintained, relay instructions to patients, schedule follow-up appointments, and help ensure timely patient flow.
  • Collect and/or assist providers in collecting specimens, as required, using appropriate protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of patient care standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules.
  • Skill in communicating in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
Working Conditions

This role operates in a healthcare setting, requiring frequent standing, walking, and computer work. You will need to be able to stand for 75% or longer of your workday and lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
