Job Title: Helpdesk Support

The Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Support professional to join its Information Services (IS) team. As a key member of the IS team, you will provide technical support coordination, vendor contract/billing support, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide triage level technical Help Desk support, including direct contact with HANYS staff and a limited group of HANYS' clients.
  • Document Help Desk requests using the HANYS Help Desk application and assign requests to the appropriate support queue.
  • Research, respond to, and resolve requests, escalating to level one support staff when necessary.
  • Participate in Information Services projects, providing logistic support, communications, and application testing.
  • Maintain an active list and associated contract with costs for all Information Service Vendors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for Information Services.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support for Information Services leadership staff, including managing the IS calendar and tracking personnel events.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma with at least 2 years of helpdesk or customer support desk experience or related administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other standard industry desktop user tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, coupled with attention to detail and customer-focused skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently and as part of a team.
