Senior Optical Solutions Specialist

As a Senior Optical Solutions Specialist at Cisco, you will lead the relationships between Charter Communications Core Backbone Operations Team and Cisco in Optical, Software Full Stack Observability and Security applications areas. This role requires strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customers' business drivers and align to Cisco solution.
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious self-starter with ability to articulate Cisco product and business strategies, and build the demand to complete the deal. The ideal candidate will have experience selling Optical, Software Full Stack Observability and Security applications technology in the Service Provider space and a strong track record of success leading a large territory, demand generation, partner development, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, communicating business transformational solutions via sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the relationships between Charter Communications Core Backbone Operations Team and Cisco in Optical, Software Full Stack Observability and Security applications areas
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials to communicate business transformational solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a related technology sales role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the Cisco installed base
- Excellent track record of success leading a large territory, demand generation, partner development, strategic account planning, forecasting, quota attainment, communicating business transformational solutions via sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
