Job Summary

As a Help Desk Support Specialist at TEKsystems, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, and in-person. Your primary goal will be to resolve technical issues and improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and document initial incident and request management reports
  • Provide basic desktop and application support
  • Conduct initial triage and escalate as required
  • Monitor SEA systems for equipment failure and errors in performance
  • Collaborate with TIER 2 helpdesk technicians

Requirements

  • Vocational certifications or AS degree in computer science or related technical field preferred
  • At least two years of experience working on a Help Desk / Service Desk
  • Microsoft certifications a plus
  • Positive customer service oriented in potentially high stress scenarios

Working Conditions

This is an on-site position with a schedule of Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed 11am-10pm, 4-day 10-hour shifts. The first two weeks are typically training hours of Mon-Fri 8a-5p.
