We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Ecommerce Sales Manager to drive online sales growth, optimize our digital presence, and deliver exceptional customer experiences for our retail accounts.
As a key member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed retail e-commerce sales targets. You will collaborate with our Account Leaders to build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with online merchants, and work closely with our finance team to build the Annual Sales Budget and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed retail e-commerce sales targets.
- Collaborate with HPI Account Leaders to build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with online merchants.
- Collaborate with the finance team to build the Annual Sales Budget and ensure accurate sales forecasting.
- Monitor online retail sales performance and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Segment (channel marketing), Commercial Finance and marketing agencies to execute promotional campaigns, new product launches, and growing core items.
- Manage the online product catalog to ensure accurate product listings, descriptions, and online retail pricing.
- Coordinate with customer service, forecasting, operations, and global supply teams to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor product performance and provide feedback and recommendations to the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Conduct regular market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall retail e-commerce strategy.
- Generate and present to sales and marketing regular reports on sales performance, customer behavior, and website analytics.
- Track online POS metrics, including sell-in, sell-thru, product reviews, return rates, etc. and provide performance summaries and reporting against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with Business intelligence to create accurate and easy to understand reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and no less than 4 years of progressive experience managing retail ecommerce accounts, or same length of progressive experience in commercial finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid Experience managing customer feedback and nurturing individual customer relationships successfully.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and in-person with the utmost attention to detail.
- A customer service-oriented mindset, with a strong ability to identify the wants, needs and expectations of the customer to meet them with the company's offerings.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, with the ability to think and act strategically.
- Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
- Ability to work cross functionally with various internal and external teams.
- Strong project management skills, self-starter and successful at leading projects with little supervision.
