About the Company:

The e-Commerce Product Manager role will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and outside agencies to deliver a seamless online shopping experience for our customers. This role is critical to help shape the vision and strategy for our eCommerce platform and assist in prioritizing, organizing, and driving digital product features from concept to launch. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital product management, eCommerce, and technology, while contributing to the growth and success of matouk.com. This role will also be the main point of contact with our Paid Media agency to assist in the day to day management of the account.

About the Role:

  • Manage the development of digital products for e-commerce, from concept to launch and ensure products meet business needs and that they have the desired features.
  • Assist in the collection, documentation, and analysis of product requirements and user stories.
  • Prioritize the product backlog based on business needs and priority, and technical feasibility.
  • Work closely with development teams (outside agency) to ensure clear understanding of product requirements and assist in resolving issues or questions (maintenance and future replatform/redesign)
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance, using data and analytics to make informed decisions about product iterations and improvements.
  • Assist in the coordination of digital product launches, including coordinating with ecommerce merchandising, customer experience, and other departments.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product functionality meets business and customer requirements.
  • Provide support in creating product documentation, including feature specifications and user guides.
  • Lead project development with approach, scope, assignments, and timeline.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders along with budget and tracking agency hours, foresee blockers, and propose alternative solutions. Use project management tools to track budget & efficiently review projects
  • Collaborate with External Development Partners and vendors to implement new website enhancements based on team and business needs on Matouk.com/SPREE platform and some other 3rd party platforms (e.g Zonos/Narvar).
  • Manage and hold development teams accountable for project delivery that is high quality, on time and within cost.
  • Manage Web Maintenance & Development Providers performance by defining scope and prioritization of projects on tickets, Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews, backlog refinement, and communicating clear target delivery dates. Use JIRA to track project progress. Report site bugs and issues. Ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Develop appropriate information architecture for new functionality as needed, and help document new features.
  • Perform Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and then coordinate launch and deployment on live environment
  • Maintain budget with agency and communicate hours or flag any issues with stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with eCommerce trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
  • Be a subject matter expert on important ecommerce website functionality trends and our eCommerce current platform (SPREE) capabilities or other new platforms in the future

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with 5+ years of eCommerce experience.
  • Strong interest in eCommerce, product management, and digital technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a team-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior project experience in B2c eCommerce, product management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (SPREE) and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics and Hotjar).
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design principles and web development processes.
