Position Overview:

The Business Management Manager 1 will oversee the financial dimensions of Production, Sustainment, and Growth initiatives within the Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division, Advanced Radar Systems (ARS) Operating Unit. This role will report to the Business Manager of the Advanced Radar Systems Operating Unit and collaborate closely with program Directors and their teams to formulate strategies, evaluate program performance, and meet financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage program resources, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including variance analysis and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance and financial reporting in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF).
  • Oversee Earned Value Management System (EVMS) with COBRA reporting to fulfill internal and external deliverables.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and review.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and support pricing and proposal efforts.
  • Review contractual documents, including Technical Task Orders.
  • Manage subcontractor invoicing and funding processes.
  • Foster ongoing collaboration with customers and functional teams.
  • Lead and develop Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, and/or program control.
  • Familiarity with DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR.
  • Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts, applicable to multiple contracts, CLINs, and control accounts.
  • Prior experience in a Program Control Environment, including establishing cost control systems and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW).
  • Experience in preparing and presenting financial analyses to teams and/or management.
  • A current/active DoD Secret clearance with the capability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Previous experience managing or supervising programs, projects, or personnel, potentially in a lead role.
  • Experience with Cognos forecasting systems.
  • A current/active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $99,800 - $149,600
