We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating support services functions, including major event management and coordination, facilities inspection services, and work control coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate support services functions, including major event management and coordination
- Provide facilities inspection services to academic classrooms
- Act as a Work Control Coordinator
- Develop and implement effective procedures for managing facilities operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Conduct regular facilities inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
- Develop and maintain accurate records of facilities operations and maintenance activities
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong managerial and leadership qualities
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to coordinate varied activities and events
- Working knowledge of computers and computer programs
- Ability to create reports from data collected
- Working knowledge in use of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of facilities condition planning database software
