Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, guiding them through the sales process, and ensuring a seamless buying experience.

Responsibilities
  • BUILD LASTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND CREATE A TRUSTED ADVISORY ROLE TO GUIDE THEM THROUGH THE SALES PROCESS
  • GREET AND ORIENT CUSTOMERS UPON ARRIVAL, PROVIDING PERSONALIZED ATTENTION AND GUIDANCE THROUGHOUT THEIR VEHICLE PURCHASING EXPERIENCE
  • UTILIZE PROVEN QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES TO UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER NEEDS AND PREFERENCES, MATCHING THEM WITH THE IDEAL VEHICLE SELECTION
  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of new and pre-owned vehicles to enhance the sales process and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • CLOSE DEALS BY OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS AND THRIVING IN SALES SITUATIONS, WHILE MAINTAINING EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • FOLLOW-UP WITH UNSOLD AND SOLD CUSTOMERS TO MAXIMIZE EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR SALE OR REFERRAL BUSINESS
  • DELIVER OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH AN EXPERIENCE SECOND TO NONE
  • BECOME A PRODUCT SPECIALIST, KNOWING THE PRODUCT OFFERINGS, OPTIONAL PACKAGES, AND LATEST TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE VALUE-ADDED SERVICES
  • REPORT DIRECTLY TO THE SALES MANAGEMENT TEAM REGARDING OBJECTIVES, PLANNED ACTIVITIES, REVIEWS, AND ANALYSES
  • ASSIST MANAGEMENT IN ENSURING THE LOT IS MERCHANDISED CORRECTLY TO MAXIMIZE SALES

  • SHOW ENTHUSIASM WITH HIGH ENERGY THROUGHOUT THE SALES WORKDAY
  • BE READY, WILLING, AND COMMITTED TO LEARNING THE JOB
  • Possess STRONG INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH ONE-ON-ONE AND OVER THE PHONE
  • BE PERSUASIVE AND ABLE TO OVERCOME CUSTOMER OBJECTIONS DURING THE SALES PROCESS
  • Possess PROFICIENT BUSINESS MATH SKILLS, INCLUDING PERCENTAGES
  • PRIOR AUTOMOTIVE SALES EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • BE WILLING TO SUBMIT TO A DRUG SCREEN
  • HOLD AN ACTIVE DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH AN ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD

Compensation and Benefits

WE OFFER A COMPETITIVE SALARY RANGE OF $60,000 - $100,000 PER YEAR, BASED ON EXPERIENCE, WITH UNLIMITED COMMISSIONS POSSIBLE. WE ALSO PROVIDE AN EXTENSIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE, INCLUDING TUFTS HEALTH, BLUE CROSS DENTAL INSURANCE, 401K RETIREMENT PLAN, GROUP LIFE INSURANCE, AND PAID VACATION AND PERSONAL DAYS.

The estimated annual salary range is approximately $72,000 - $120,000, depending on performance and qualifications.
