Solar Sales Consultant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting in-home presentations on our solar products and services to potential customers. Your primary goal will be to establish genuine connections with customers, qualify and vet solar as a viable energy solution for their homes and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute effective self-generated sales strategies, leads, and appointments with potential customers.
- Provide exceptional customer sales experiences from initial contact through installation and beyond.
- Conduct in-home sales presentations, evaluate customers' knowledge and needs, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install, following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
- Accurately report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
- Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs.
- Willingness to spend time traveling within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
- Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an iPad/computer and multiple software applications (experience with a CRM is a plus).
