Public Accounting Auditor

Burns Recruitment is proud to partner with a reputable public accounting firm in a dynamic environment. This combined role for Audit Staff Accountants and Senior Auditors offers opportunities for both new graduates and experienced professionals to join a supportive and innovative firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including footnote disclosures.
- Manage client engagements, including the planning and execution of audits.
- Complete audit procedures in higher-risk areas, such as revenue and costs.
- Develop audit programs, customized procedures, budgets, and engagement letters.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff on engagements, helping them grow professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Audit Staff Accountant: Entry-level to 2 years of experience in auditing.
- Senior Auditor: 3-7 years of experience in auditing, with public accounting experience preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or parts of CPA exam passed is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of audit principles, FASB standards, GAAP, and GAAS. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CCH ProSystem Engagement is preferred.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50-75% for client meetings.
