Scientist, Preformulation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled scientist to join our Formulations Sciences team, focusing on the development of new chemical entities for human trials. The ideal candidate will have expertise in solid oral manufacturing and analytical lab practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop solid oral prototypes, including blend preparation, under the guidance of a lead scientist.
- Independently assess drug properties using techniques like XRPD, DSC, TGA, and HPLC/UPLC.
- Conduct stability studies, write development reports for CDMOs, and maintain compliant lab notebooks.
- B.S. in analytical chemistry or a related field with 2+ years of experience in small molecule oral formulation development.
- Experience in solid dosage forms, blending, and compaction, with a willingness to learn advanced formulation techniques.
- Skilled in molecule characterization using HPLC/UPLC, DSC, XRPD, and TGA.
- Expertise in excipient use and solubility enhancement, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Self-driven, excellent collaboration skills, and adaptability in a dynamic, results-focused team environment.
