Role Overview
As a Compliance and Security Assurance Expert, you will spearhead, design, and orchestrate our Security Compliance Program to foster customer trust and support PagerDuty's growth into global enterprise markets.

Collaboration
You will collaborate across various organizational teams as a Security Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME), working closely with both business and technical stakeholders to address the needs of our global clientele.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Customer Trust Programs**: Maintain current and precise customer documentation to facilitate security responses to inquiries and audits; engage with internal and external stakeholders for the Third Party Risk Program concerning vendor onboarding and risk assessments.
2. **Compliance Frameworks**: Possess knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks, aligning policies with regulatory and business requirements; assist teams in designing controls, automation, and reports to satisfy compliance obligations.
3. **Security Education**: Administer both general and program-specific internal security education and awareness initiatives.
4. **Risk Assessments**: Oversee information security risk assessments, guiding the development and operational effectiveness of IT security controls, along with risk tracking and management.
5. **Incident Monitoring**: Monitor investigations and documentation of cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents. Review findings and non-compliance with business leaders, proposing solutions to mitigate risks.

Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in security risk or compliance within a technology environment, with substantial experience in at least one compliance program such as SOC2, FedRAMP, NIST, or similar.
- Proven success in managing regulatory and client audits.
- Experience in administering security training and education programs.
- Proficiency in redlining security language for legal agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, demonstrating a strong bias towards action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective stakeholder management and client experience for both internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Third Party Risk Management.
