Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process all incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.
- Organize and manage stock inventory effectively.
- Ensure all items are stored in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Prepare and stage parts for upcoming projects prior to assembly.
- Collaborate with technicians to verify parts and supplies before assembly commences.
- Oversee the management and distribution of shop supplies.
- Occasionally procure parts and supplies from local vendors as required.
- Assist technicians with inquiries regarding parts for installations.
- Maintain an orderly warehouse environment, ensuring proper bin locations are recorded.
- Support the assembly of wiring harnesses, communicating any modifications needed to the parts department.
- Keep the workspace clean and safe by disposing of waste and maintaining a tidy shop floor.
- Provide assistance to technicians as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehousing is preferred.
- Willingness to be trained on forklift operation.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions, assess issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 30lbs, seeking help when necessary.
- Frequent walking and standing for extended periods is required.
- Exposure to loud noises, such as sirens, is a common aspect of the role.
