Overview of the Role:
We are in search of a proactive Hotel Front Desk Coordinator to manage guest interactions at the Springhill Suites hotel. This role encompasses welcoming, checking in, and assisting guests throughout their stay, along with handling phone inquiries related to reservations and hotel services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcomes, registers, and assigns accommodations to guests, providing room keys and directions.
- Manages incoming correspondence for guests, including mail and faxes.
- Responds to inquiries regarding hotel amenities, guest registration, local attractions, and travel directions.
- Maintains accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
- Calculates bills, processes payments, and provides change as necessary.
- Handles reservations, including making, confirming, and canceling as needed.
- Prior experience in a front desk role is advantageous.
- Background in customer service is essential.
