Role Summary: Offshore Project Coordinator
The Offshore Project Coordinator plays a vital role, reporting directly to the Operations Manager and collaborating closely with the tender and offshore teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of projects.

In a matrix organization, your responsibilities will include ensuring that projects are meticulously planned, adequately resourced, and executed according to established criteria (KPIs, SLAs), particularly those related to cost and schedule.

You will serve as the primary liaison for all internal and external project stakeholders, providing timely project updates as necessary. By promoting the interests of the business, you will adopt a proactive approach to risk management, prioritizing safety and quality in all endeavors, leading by example, and embodying the company's core values while maximizing project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion company values and foster a health and safety culture by leading quality and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage the technical solutions for proposed projects, including equipment, vessels, and methodologies, ensuring all changes are communicated to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the project plan and execution strategy from tender to project mobilization, providing expertise and coordinating input from various stakeholders.
  • Initiate and maintain the Risk Opportunity Register, capturing key items for project success.
  • Prepare cost schedules and complete necessary contractual documentation in line with commercial service level agreements.
  • Coordinate project planning activities across departments, ensuring accountability for project timelines.
  • Provide essential information on project resource requirements, collaborating with resource owners within agreed timeframes.
  • Review budgets and implement project cost tracking in collaboration with the Project Accountant.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ documentation, processes, and procedures in conjunction with the HSEQ team.
  • Engage and manage project-specific suppliers to ensure successful delivery and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain close collaboration with clients, managing delivery, scope variations, and payment schedules.
  • Identify operational challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Act as an ambassador for the implementation of technology in Rovco projects.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive project management experience leading cross-functional technical teams, including ROV and hydrographic survey operations.
  • Qualifications in Project/Programme Management (APM or equivalent) or Hydrographic Surveying or a related discipline, or significant relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex offshore projects.
  • Valid GWO training, OGUK medical, and BOSIET certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of ROV survey data acquisition, reporting, and processing.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to resolve issues in offshore environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in dynamic settings.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
