Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Operator to join our dynamic team in the petroleum contracting industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators, to support our operations in building Gas Stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate skid steer loaders and mini excavators to perform tasks such as earthmoving, grading, and loading.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and basic repairs on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while performing site operations.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor site conditions and report any issues or hazards to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of petroleum systems and components.
  • Train and supervise junior operators, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, with a focus on skid steer and mini excavator operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and operational manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor conditions and to adapt to flexible work hours and travel.
