Facilities Operations Manager

About the Position:

As a Facilities Operations Manager at CBRE, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for collaborating with vendors and clients to ensure the timely delivery of essential services.

This role is integral to the Facilities Management sector, focusing on all aspects of soft service operations within a facility and reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily functions of the team.
  • Act as the primary liaison for communication with key client stakeholders.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and implementation of all procedures, policies, and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct proactive inspections and provide oversight for janitorial and landscaping services.
  • Manage the timely delivery of security, fire system maintenance, and pest management programs, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Identify and implement enhancements in existing service delivery to guarantee quality and reliability.
  • Assess opportunities for service scope expansion and develop innovative solutions.
  • Monitor regular expenses against the budget and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Track key performance indicators to enhance service delivery, entering KPI data and generating monthly client review presentations.
  • Resolve issues and evaluate existing solutions to meet team objectives.
  • Benchmark against other account sites for best practices.
  • Review quarterly client survey feedback, develop corrective actions, and implement improvements.
  • Directly influence team objectives and development planning.
  • Provide coverage for front desk responsibilities during staff absences.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the job function, along with basic knowledge of related areas.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts or sensitive information clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen, inquisitive mindset.
  • Exceptional mathematical abilities, including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.
