Role Overview:
The primary objective of this position is to ensure the seamless functioning of manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will oversee the physical infrastructure of the manufacturing site, which includes buildings, machinery, utilities, and maintenance services. This role encompasses managing repairs, enhancements, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Maintenance Strategy Development:
Formulate and execute maintenance schedules and protocols for manufacturing machinery to reduce downtime and enhance performance. This includes preventive maintenance tasks aimed at identifying and resolving potential issues before they disrupt operations.

Team Leadership:
Guide a team of maintenance technicians, offering direction, training, and support to ensure that maintenance tasks are performed effectively and efficiently. Assign responsibilities, establish objectives, and assess performance to uphold high productivity levels.

Diagnostics and Repairs:
Supervise troubleshooting and repair operations for manufacturing equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and other technical challenges to minimize downtime and production losses. Collaborate with external vendors or specialists as necessary for complex repairs.

Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and equipment components to guarantee that essential items are readily available. Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels while minimizing costs and ensuring timely procurement of replacement parts.

Ensure that maintenance operations comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for employees. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.

Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, encompassing expenses for labor, spare parts, equipment upgrades, and contracted services. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and justify investments in maintenance initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Process Improvement:

Collaboration with Production Teams:

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance history, work orders, and performance metrics. Prepare reports and analyses to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
