Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and balance accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial reports, and statements.
  • Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
  • Execute various credit and collection tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with accounts receivable policies and procedures, adhering to both internal and external controls.
  • Assist in identifying potential problematic accounts, including those with overdue debts, and conduct thorough analyses for fraud detection.
  • Evaluate and track credit sources, customer applications, and delinquent accounts.
  • Address and resolve customer deductions promptly.
  • Compile month-end reports for management review regarding customer accounts.
  • Gather necessary information from credit organizations, banks, and loan associations.
  • Lead special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience of 2 years in Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • High organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Quick learning aptitude.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is essential.
