About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Systems Intern to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Treasury Systems Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the Treasury Systems team in the management and optimization of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the modernization of critical legacy applications using C# and contribute fresh ideas for optimization.
  • Support key projects to upgrade energy risk systems and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including issue monitoring and tracking, while working on custom applications to enhance their performance.
  • Support a full system redesign to help the team discover and implement more efficient optimization strategies.
Requirements
  • Availability to start on a part-time basis.
  • Registered in school as a full-time student and continuing education full-time until the Fall 2025 semester.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related major.
  • Accumulated 18 or more credits and be 18 years of age.
  • Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States.
  • Located within a commutable distance to the identified work location.
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, SQL, Azure and Cloud Technology.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Energy Trading, Database/ Risk Management Systems is a plus.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $28.00 (Undergraduate Student) or $33.00 (Graduate Student).
  • A hybrid work schedule with less than 2 days of in-person work per week.
  • The opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of critical systems.
