About the Role

Coca-Cola Bottling Company United is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Warehouse Industrial Maintenance Team B. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of products by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production team as the mechanical expert, ensuring production and support equipment are functioning properly.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment reliability and train team members on technical processes.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, making repairs or adjustments as needed.
  • Perform basic electrical duties, including replacing motors, switches, and other components.
  • Support the team on all aspects of the operation, including package changeovers and training team members on mechanical processes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 2-4 years related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.
  • Proficient knowledge in the operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of various mechanical processes is necessary (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc).
  • Ability to work with all functional team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology.
  • Frequent walking, grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and exposure to chemicals.
  • Repeated exposure to water and noise.
