About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Romac Industries. As a key member of our Maintenance crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Machinery: Identify and resolve issues with complex mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
  • Perform Routine Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on advanced electronic systems to prevent equipment failures and extend lifespan.
  • Provide Technical Support and Mentorship: Offer guidance and training to lower-level technicians, helping them develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Oversee Special Projects and Installations: Lead and coordinate the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to production.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in an industrial machine maintenance role, or 6+ years of trade or military school experience related to electrical/electronic repair.
  • Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • A strong and diverse understanding of electronic theory.
  • Exceptional work ethic with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
