Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

MaineHealth is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Palliative Care team.

About the Role

The goal of palliative care is to maximize quality of life and align the individual's medical care with what matters most to them.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week role with both inpatient and outpatient clinical components.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current license and registration to practice as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant as required in the State of Maine.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Preferred completion of a Palliative Medicine training program specialty certification.
  • Board certified / board eligible.
