RWJBarnabas Health Seeks Palliative Care Physicians

RWJBarnabas Health, in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, is seeking Palliative Care Physicians to join our team. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will provide consultations at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and other non-oncology outpatient sites at the New Brunswick campus as needed. You will also participate in the education of staff, trainees, and the community, and have opportunities for collaborations between clinical and research programs.

We are seeking physicians with a strong background in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, with fellowship training preferred. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of our palliative care program.

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey is the state's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, and RWJBarnabas Health is the state's largest healthcare delivery system. Together, we offer access to the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options for adult and pediatric cancer patients, including clinical trials, immunotherapy, proton therapy, precision medicine, CAR T-cell therapy, and cardio-oncology.

Faculty are expected to support the educational goals and activities of the School, and as such will be expected to be involved in teaching activities for medical students and residents as well as targeted lectures in their area of expertise.
