Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with grade-level teams to implement effective strategies that support the success of all learners.
- Plan thoughtfully to create opportunities for students to construct meaning and develop a deep understanding of new concepts.
- Utilize developmentally appropriate and challenging curricula and instructional materials aligned with benchmarks and Common Core standards.
- Introduce students to new ideas and concepts through diverse strategies, inspiring them to explore and express their own ideas.
- Administer, collect, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from various assessments to understand each student's needs.
- Build strong relationships with students' families through regular communication regarding their progress and provide guidance on how families can support their children's learning.
- Engage in school-wide assessments to identify and address students' needs.
- Supervise lunch and/or recess periods.
- Provide coverage for classroom teachers as needed.
- Offer additional support to the school community as required.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A strong desire to enhance classroom expertise in preparation for a lead teaching role.
- Currently pursuing a pathway to teaching certification.
- Only candidates meeting these qualifications will be considered.
Compensation
- Salary: $46,350
- Comprehensive health insurance, including dental and vision, along with a 403b retirement plan.
