Join our team as a Patient Transporter at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily living activities, such as toileting, showering, and transporting them to appointments and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including toileting, showering, and transporting them to appointments and procedures.
  • Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, as needed.
  • Assist with meal services on the nursing units, as directed.
  • Operate elevators for use by patients, as applicable.
  • Distribute mail, flowers, and packages to patients.
  • Transport specimens, as needed.
  • Report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinician.
  • Assist with ADLs and rehabilitation techniques on the nursing unit to maximize patient recovery.
Requirements:
  • One or more years of hospital experience, preferred.
