Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Account Executive to oversee the SLED (State, Local, Education) sector across a designated region. This role is pivotal in driving sales of our advanced Network Security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within state IT agencies, educational institutions, and local government organizations.
  • Utilize your extensive field sales experience to effectively navigate complex sales cycles and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Engage with SLED customers to understand their unique security needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and manage the proof of concept (POC) process to showcase the value of our cybersecurity offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive account management and new business development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software sales, particularly in Network Security and Cybersecurity solutions.
  • Proven track record of success in selling to SLED customers, with a focus on large-scale deals exceeding $300K.
  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and the specific needs of the public sector.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex accounts effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a drive for success.

Compensation: Competitive base salary ranging from $140K to $150K, along with uncapped commission potential.

Preferred Locations: Candidates located in major cities with convenient access to regional travel will be prioritized.
