Overview:
The Incident Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining software applications and infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications and infrastructure.
- Manage escalations from the Helpdesk for application support, including both in-house and third-party applications.
- Provide assistance with operating system drivers, software, and firmware.
- Support users with home connectivity and remote work setups, utilizing firm or personal laptops along with virtual machines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively.
- Create and maintain comprehensive support documentation.
- Collaborate with various support teams (both local and global) across multiple platforms.
- Document and manage all incidents and requests using a ticket-tracking system.
- Proactively communicate trends, significant issues, and anticipated delays to management.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours and weekend support.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and engage in relevant training programs.
- Respond promptly to communications across various platforms such as email, Microsoft Teams, and others.
