Job Summary

Pensacola Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (2) is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various types of wounds, including surgical openings, ulcers, bedsores, feeding tube sites, and abscesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess wounds and create comprehensive treatment plans to promote healing and prevent infection.
  • Monitor wound progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
  • Document patient information and wound progress accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
  • BSN or equivalent degree in nursing.
  • Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Peripheral IV certification.
  • Two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics and subacute populations.
  • CPR/BLS certification.
