Position Overview

As a leading manufacturer of steam boilers, we offer a range of services including parts supply, performance enhancements, fuel conversions, and expert support to ensure optimal operation.

We are currently in search of a qualified Electrical Engineer, holding a Professional Engineer license, to assist with retrofit initiatives for both industrial and utility clients. This role is available in our Marlborough, MA, or Akron, OH locations.



Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Providing support for project proposals and execution, focusing on the design and supply of electrical components including power, control, and wiring.
  • Reviewing specifications provided by clients in the industrial and utility sectors.
  • Participating in site visits to finalize cable routing and material requirements.
  • Estimating and designing electrical connections between field devices such as transmitters, valves, and motors for both power and control systems.
  • Overseeing the output of outsourced electrical engineering services, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineering License.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in electrical and control systems design, commissioning, and application within an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to ten percent, with occasional international travel as required by project needs.
