Position Overview

We are in search of a qualified Electrical Engineer, holding a Professional Engineer license, to assist with retrofit initiatives for both industrial and utility clients. This role can be based in either our Marlborough, MA, or Akron, OH locations.



Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Providing proposal and execution assistance for projects, encompassing the design and supply of electrical components, including power, control, and wiring.
  • Reviewing client specifications tailored to our industrial and utility clientele.
  • Participating in site assessments to finalize cable routing and material requirements.
  • Estimating and designing electrical connections between field devices, such as transmitters, valves, and motors, for power and control systems.
  • Overseeing the output of outsourced electrical engineering services, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in electrical and control systems design, commissioning, and application within an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to ten percent, with occasional international travel as needed for project support.
