Job Title: Healthcare Case Manager

Job Summary:

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a skilled Healthcare Case Manager to join our team. As a Healthcare Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting patients and healthcare providers by coordinating access to therapies, managing case loads, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Serve as a single point of contact for providers and patients, acting as a patient advocate with compassion.
  • Access to Therapies: Coordinate access to therapies, follow up, and facilitate support services.
  • Case Load Management: Manage case load and validate patient information per program SOPs.
  • Reimbursement Activities: Conduct reimbursement activities, including benefit investigations and prior authorizations.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain frequent contact with relevant parties.
  • Reporting: Report Adverse Events and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with inter-departmental associates and exercise judgment within SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, reimbursement hub, physician's office, healthcare setting, or insurance.
  • Reimbursement Experience: 2+ years of experience in reimbursements.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, proficient in MS Word and Excel with strong keyboard skills, knowledge of HIPAA regulations and pharmacy/medical benefits, detail-oriented, highly organized, and customer satisfaction focused.

On-boarding Requirements:

  • Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Background Checks: Criminal Background & Drug Screening.
  • References: 2 verifiable employment references.
