Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in a fully-remote position. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed SLP looking for a virtual work environment.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position with the possibility of part-time work. The successful candidate will work with a school district in Florida, providing direct speech services to students in elementary and middle school. The caseload will consist of 30-40 students.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to diagnose and assess speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring alignment with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals.
  • Engage in intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities, focusing on improving communication skills for academic success and social interaction.
  • Utilize and adapt various instructional resources and techniques to enhance student communication abilities, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes in speech and language development.
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Level Degree
  • Active Speech Language Pathology Licensure in Florida
  • 2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings
  • 2 Years Previous Experience with Teletherapy (preferred)
Contract Details

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position, which means the following:
