Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to patient recovery by delivering therapy aimed at enhancing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervisors and team members; assist in patient scheduling and ensure accurate daily documentation of patient records.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  • Educate patients' families or nursing staff on follow-up care programs.
  • Ensure that all equipment and workspaces are kept safe and clean.
  • Perform job duties in alignment with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and relevant professional standards and laws.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or compliant with ASHA certification standards.
  • Fulfill the educational and experiential criteria for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology as granted by ASHA.
  • A minimum of six months of experience as a speech therapist/speech language pathologist, particularly with adult and geriatric populations.
  • Possess a current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Hold a valid CPR certification.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and communication abilities.
