Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based position. As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Therapy Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students' needs and educational goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and daily routines.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • IEP Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support students' overall development.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Florida state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
