Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizes and categorizes documents, including invoices and checks, that validate business transactions.
  • Confirms and records details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and reconciles accounts to ledgers or digital spreadsheets and databases.
  • Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other documentation, ensuring accuracy.
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts with various registers.
  • Extracts information from the general ledger.
  • Compiles cost reports along with revenue and balance sheets.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies in reports.
  • Codes data for entry into the financial data processing system in accordance with company protocols.
  • Reviews, balances, and interprets computer-generated reports, making necessary corrections.
  • Creates and maintains spreadsheets with complex formulas.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline is required.
  • Up to two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Regularly required to see, sit, and use hands for tasks.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and communicate effectively.
  • Able to engage with others while maintaining a courteous and positive attitude.
