The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience and a solid history of successfully completing large-scale projects on schedule and within financial constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all on-site construction operations for projects valued at $10 million or more.
- Create and enforce project timelines, ensuring all construction phases are completed promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
- Implement quality control protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards and building regulations.
- Conduct regular site evaluations to assess progress and manage any issues or alterations in project scope.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients, providing consistent updates on project developments and addressing any inquiries.
- Quickly and effectively resolve any on-site disputes or challenges.
- Prepare and keep precise project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
- At least 5 years of experience as a supervisor in commercial construction, specifically managing projects of $10 million or more.
- Experience in retail and light industrial construction is essential.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Capability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
