Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Control Systems Technician to join our team at the Fully Automated Distribution Center in Arlington, WA. As a Control Systems Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying material handling controls systems to ensure the operational performance of equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain software programs for control systems
  • Act as first-level escalation support
  • Monitor metrics and partner with operations for system performance issues
  • Assess system performance and coordinate new technology installations
  • Communicate technical issues effectively with various teams

Requirements:

  • PLC experience
  • Ability to identify, maintain, troubleshoot, and modify AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLC's and PLC components
  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting
  • Interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings
  • SCADA systems utilization
  • Motor control systems expertise
  • Knowledge in Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus
