Position Overview:
The Night Auditor serves as our overnight Guest Service Representative, providing essential services with a unique approach. Responsibilities include managing phone inquiries, processing reservations, facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs, addressing requests, and ensuring adherence to safety and security protocols. Given the nature of overnight shifts, our Night Auditors often engage with guests who may be weary from travel, necessitating a compassionate and efficient service style. This role allows for fewer guest interactions, enabling the Night Auditor to undertake additional tasks such as operating the computer system to update business dates and accurately posting room charges. Night Auditors also play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of public areas while guests rest. Effective written communication is vital for conveying necessary information to daytime staff, including Housekeeping and Maintenance teams.
